Taq Drought

Hello All -

We're dreadfully low on Taq. Due to the annual log-jam in Purchasing , our summer Taq order was stuck somewhere on the 3rd floor. I extracted it from the Purchasing process this afternoon and forced it screaming down the flume myself. However, it is Very Unlikely that it will get here before Tuesday, despite cashing in all my favors and good Karma with the powers that be. Alternatives are available if anyone is desperate. Otherwise cross those fingers that it gets here tomorrow, or guiltlessly observe the Memorial Day Holiday without Polymerase Chain Reaction.

I'll let you know when it arrives -

Bayonne High School Students - THURSDAY

CORRECTION - THIS WILL BE THURSDAY

There will be a tour coming through on THURsday afternoon from Bayonne high school. They are students in a GE Healthcare (the makers of our magic beads) sponsored science program. They will be bringing LUNCH of pizza and drinks with them around noon and then will take a tour of the lab and speak to some of you about your research. It would be great if you could be around on Wednesday afternoon to talk with them. HOPEFULLY a few key peeps will volunteer to give them a small introduction in to exciting science that isn't medicine!

Cheers Everyone -
